Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the Pixel Potion app and its online services. By using the app you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
1. Who we are
Pixel Potion is provided by Midego, the Netherlands. Contact: support@midego.net.
2. The service
Pixel Potion creates images and short videos with artificial intelligence from photos you upload and text you write, using third-party AI providers described in the privacy policy. Tools, models, prices and availability may change over time.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country), you need permission from a parent or guardian.
4. Credits
- Creating a result costs credits. The price is shown before you start.
- Credits are bought as consumable in-app purchases through Apple. They don't expire, can't be exchanged for money and can't be transferred.
- Credits are non-refundable, except that credits spent on a creation that fails are returned to your balance automatically.
- Requests to refund an App Store purchase are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. If Apple refunds a purchase, the credits from it are removed from your balance.
- Your balance is linked to the anonymous app user ID on your device. "Restore purchases" refreshes the balance from our server; consumable credits that were already used can't be restored.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
5. Acceptable use
You may only upload photos and write prompts that you have the right to use. You must not use Pixel Potion to create, upload or share:
- sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes minors;
- sexually explicit content or nudity;
- images of a real person without their consent, or content meant to deceive, harass, bully, defame or impersonate someone (including deceptive "deepfakes");
- graphic violence, content that promotes self-harm, terrorism or hatred against people;
- content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- anything illegal.
You also must not try to get around our safety checks or rate limits, interfere with the service, access it in an automated way, or resell it. Prompts are screened automatically and may be refused. We may remove content and suspend access when these rules are broken, and report illegal content to the authorities.
6. Your content
You keep the rights you have in the photos and text you upload. You give us and our providers permission to process them only as needed to create your results and run the service. Subject to these terms, the law and the rights of others, you may use your results for personal and commercial purposes.
7. AI output
Results are generated automatically by AI models. They can be inaccurate, unexpected or imperfect, may not look like the original, and similar results may be produced for other people. We don't guarantee that a result is unique or free of third-party rights. You are responsible for how you use and share results. If a result is offensive or harmful, please use Report result in the app or email us.
8. Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Pixel Potion running, but it is provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable or change. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or loss of data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn't limit liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.
9. Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time and delete your data in the app (Me → Account → Delete my data). We may end or suspend access if you break these terms.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest version and important changes are announced in the app. Dutch law applies, without taking away protection you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands unless mandatory law says otherwise.
